Hi, I’m Kaitlyn - photographer, memory hoarder, and mom currently navigating life with four children ages four and under. Yes… four. If you just whispered “oh my goodness,” don’t worry — I say that to myself daily.
I was raised in Northern Alberta, where barefoot adventures, free-spirited roaming, and muddy feet were basically childhood essentials. That same love for authenticity has followed me into motherhood and into my photography.
A little backstory…
In December 2020, my ride-or-die and I welcomed twin baby boys into the world. A short (and I mean short) while later, we found ourselves expecting again — and suddenly, we had three boys under two. Life became a beautiful blur of booby milk, sippy cups, belly laughs, tantrums, snuggles, and the deepest sense of purpose I have ever felt.
Fast forward to today, and we’ve added baby number four into this wild little tribe. WE GOT OUR LITTLE GIRL! The journey has been chaotic, hilarious, humbling, and more meaningful than I ever imagined.
Motherhood changed everything for me — the way I see time, the way I value connection, and the way I hold onto the fleeting magic in everyday moments.
Sometimes I look at my kids and imagine them older… grown… heading off into the world with their own dreams. It makes me proud, emotional, and a tiny bit tempted to wrap them in bubble wrap so they stop growing so fast. I can’t nibble their chubby cheeks forever, or chase them endlessly around the kitchen, or ask for one more round of their best animal noises. Time moves, whether we want it to or not — so I soak up every bit of this season while it’s here.
That’s why I photograph the way I do.
While chasing after my own boys, I started photographing friends and family - and I quickly realized how important it is for moms to be in the memories, not standing behind the phone trying to catch every giggle.
My intention is simple:
To preserve the slow, tender, fleeting years — for YOU.
I want you to feel your photos years from now… to remember the warmth of a tiny hand on your cheek, the curve of your belly before you met your baby, the sound of your toddler’s laugh, the moment your newborn is placed on your chest. Those are the memories that matter.

The breath you take right before you meet your baby
The fluttery chaos of toddlers who absolutely refuse to sit still
The real, raw, unposed, beautiful connections that make up your family
Because let’s be honest — nobody feels nostalgic about the “say cheese” face staring directly into the camera.
Life isn’t still… and no one sits perfectly posed all day long (especially toddlers). Authenticity is where the real magic lives.
