Giving birth can be one of the most empowering and life defining moments you will ever experience.

It was for me.

Part of my personal birth plan with my twin derlivery was to have a photographer with us. Unfortunately, due to the pandemic, that was unable to happen. It is something that deep down makes me incredibly sad. I know a lot of the emotions and the overall experience quickly faded due to the hype of it all, with a mix of hormones. I wish more than anything as a first time mom to have had professional images of MEETING our children and of my husbands face as he became a father. I longed to have had THE ART of their first breath taken and re-feel the intimate embrace against my skin as I held them externally.

Even though we had a darkly light iPhone video, it was not the same.

I wish I had some photos of those moments. To me, they are bigger than anything.
